At the April 2002 Michigan Division Annual Meeting, the membership adopted two resolutions to advocate at the next national UNA conference scheduled in 2003. If passed, the resolutions will become part of the UNA's active agenda.

Michigan Division Global Health Care Draft Resolution

Michigan Division Antipersonnel Mine Draft Resolution

It is our intent to foster debate on these resolutions over the next  months, to amend and reform them as we build a national consensus between UNA members from chapters across the United States.

Prior to the 2003 conference the resolutions will only be amended if agreed to by the Michigan Division Board (i.e. as friendly amendments).  However, we encourage discussion and suggestions by all.

You may view the resolutions as they are currently written and, if you are a UNA member (on record with us), you may participate in the discussion.

If you wish to participate in the national discussion, write us and ask for an invitation to participate or complete our online request form.  Please include your full name, chapter, and membership number if you know it (your acceptance may be delayed without your membership number).
