About the UNA-USA Michigan Division
Many non-governmental United Nations Associations support the United Nations and its ideals, goals, and works. At the top of the hierarchy is the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA).
The United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) is one of the 110 national United Nations Associations.
"UNA-USA is dedicated to educating, inspiring and mobilizing Americans to support the principles and vital work of the United Nations, strengthening the United Nations system, promoting constructive United States leadership in that system, and achievement of the goals of the UN Charter."
Its educational and humanitarian campaigns include teaching students in USA urban schools, clearing minefields, and providing USA school-based support for children living in HIV/AIDS-affected communities in Africa.
Divisions, chapters, and clusters bring UNA-USA ideals, goals, and works to the state and local levels.
The strength of UNA-USA lies within the chapters and clusters. There are six chapters and cluster of varying size and activity within the Michigan Division. Additional Michigan UNA-USA members reside outside chapter boundaries. Click a chapter or cluster link below to learn more about chapter and cluster activities.
